The tycoon game genre remains a popular choice among gamers in Latin America, and the second quarter of 2024 has shown some interesting trends for the top five games on the Android platform. Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into the performance of these games, and here is a snapshot of how they fared.

Township by Playrix saw a slight decline in revenue from $74K to $58K towards the end of the quarter, despite starting strong with $63K at the beginning of April. Downloads peaked at 91K in the second week of April but saw a drop to 58K by the end of June. Weekly active users remained above 1.1M throughout the quarter, hitting a high of 1.2M in late May.

Family Island™ — Farming game from Melsoft Games Ltd experienced a fluctuating revenue pattern, starting at $70K and dipping to $46K before rising again to $62K in early June. Downloads showed a similar pattern with an early peak at 22K in mid-April, dropping to 11K in early May, and then surging to 32K in early June. The game's active users saw a steady increase from 57K to 70K over the quarter.

VIZOR APPS LTD.'s Klondike Adventures: Farm Game had a consistent rise in revenue from $40K to $41K over the three months. Downloads experienced a significant spike in late May, reaching nearly 99K from an earlier average of around 60K. Weekly active users showed healthy growth, climbing from 296K to 384K, indicating a growing interest in the game.

Supercell's Hay Day showed varied revenue, with a high of $47K in late April, followed by a decrease and then another rise to $46K in early June. Lastly, My Cafe — Restaurant Game, also from Melsoft Games Ltd, showed a modest revenue trend, increasing from $15K to nearly $20K in mid-May before dropping back to $15K. Downloads saw a significant jump to 38K in late April but declined to around 9K by early June. The active users showed a peak of 84K in late April, with a slight drop to 58K by the end of the quarter.
